Our dear friend and patient Raúl Dias is 70 years old and lives in the United States. With a quite active professional and social life, Raúl got in touch with us to recover his oral health from an aesthetic and functional standpoint. His veridic testimony, for which the entire CERO team is thankful, is the best way to illustrate his clinical picture.

In cases where the existing dentition no longer appears recoverable, the main symptoms are the following: increased tooth sensitivity; loose teeth; gingival retraction and consequent root exposure; difficulties in chewing and digesting food properly.  

The treatment in this case: “TEETH ON DAY 1” was conducted, in which five implants were placed in the upper jaw and 4 in the lower jaw. After these implants, and on the same day, the patient was given provisional teeth attached to the implants that followed him during the healing period (4 months). This patient, since he lives in the USA, only returned to Portugal on vacation a year after the surgery and, during that period, he seized the opportunity to conduct the final phase of the treatment and, curiously, his wife decided to start treatment at the same time.  

The success of this treatment allowed Raúl to reconquer his confidence, smiling again with the joy of past times, this has plenty of benefits, since it is the solution that most resembles our natural teeth, and it does not require many visits to the Clinic to finish the treatment, which, for patients who live far away, is an important decision factor.
