SPECIALTIES

From the top treatments and procedures offered in our clinic we highlight ceramic veneers, dental implants and tooth whitening with ZOOM laser and orthodontics.

DENTAL VENEERS

The use of a thin porcelain veneer, like a contact lens, allows correcting and optimizing your smile without pain and, at the same time, leaves all the natural tooth structure intact. The principle of dental veneers is similar to placing resin nails over the natural ones. Ceramic dental veneers are constructed in the laboratory and are custom made. Subsequently these veneers are cemented to the tooth surface.

WHAT ARE CERAMIC VENEERS?

Ceramic veneers are thin sheets of ceramic that are fixed (or cemented) to the teeth. These veneers can be used to increase the size of worn teeth, to remove stains or to restore the symmetry of your smile. Unlike ceramic crowns, veneers cover only the frontal aspect of the tooth and are created in order to mimic nature.

Ceramic veneers are the first choice of treatment for smile rejuvenation procedures and are also solid options for when we are asked to design a perfect smile.

DO THEY LOOK LIKE NATURAL TEETH?

Yes! These veneers are personalized so that they are perfectly adapted to your tooth and deliver highly natural results.

HOW ARE CERAMIC VENEERS MAINTAINED?

FOR HOW LONG DO CERAMIC VENEERS LAST?

Ceramic veneers can last for years or decades. They do not change colour with time and are executed with a durable material for a long lasting, pleasing result.

IS THE PROCEDURE PAINFUL?

No, this procedure is not painful. Patients may experience some sensitivity as the tooth is being prepared. Ceramic veneers are applied with a simple local anesthesia.

PERIODONTOLOGY

This field of dentistry works with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the gum and supporting tissues.

The inflammation and bleeding gums are relatively common situations caused by the existence of bacteria. However, in chronic, prolonged cases, the permanence of bacteria and gingival inflammation causes the destruction of the bone itself, leading to a gingival recession and consequently the exposure of the root (resulting in increased tooth sensitivity and tooth mobility). In these cases, only the intervention of the dentist can stop this process through non-surgical and surgical techniques, solving in some cases the mobility of the tooth and preventing its loss. Monitoring the health of your gums is as important as monitoring the health of the teeth as the periodontal disease or periodontitis is responsible for a significant portion of the lost teeth.

PREVENTIVE DENTISTRY

“Dental Health Care” is a prevention program developed by our clinic in order to ensure a fresh breath, and healthy mouth and teeth for life. Oral diseases are not considered life threatening and often oral hygiene is neglected. However, the cost in terms of suffering, pain, and treating time is huge. By taking good care of your teeth and gums you can protect them for many years to come.

SEDATION / GENERAL ANESTHESIA

In the complex oral surgery field and in oral rehabilitation, general anesthesia can be a great asset in the treatment of patients with mental or neurological impairment, where collaboration is limited; or simply in those cases where the patient fears the treatment. Through general anesthesia the patient can enjoy the comfort resulting from the absence of anxiety and pain, without compromising their security.

IMPLANTOLOGY

If you have missing teeth, conventional dentures are not the only way to replace them. Dental implants made the substitution of teeth possible, in a very natural like way, using dental ceramics, for people who have lost their teeth due to caries, periodontal disease, injury, or birth defects.

Missing teeth not only unconsciously inhibits people from smiling and talking, but also affects the level of mastication and speech. Rehabilitation with implant consists of two stages: the first is the placement of the implant itself in the bone which will osseointegrate (bone healing) for 3-6 months depending on the type of bone. Then, once the implant is osseointegrated, an impression is taken and the ceramic tooth is custom made using CAD-CAM techniques. The result is a tooth or teeth that look and feel like natural teeth, improving chewing and speech and optimizing the aesthetics of your smile.

The pediatric orthodontic treatment should be considered at around seven years old if your child shows signs of orthodontic problems, an assessment should be carried out to determine what is the best time for treatment to be performed in order to avoid major problems in the future. From the age of seven years old and during the period in which the child is developing the adult dentition is a great opportunity for the early detection of an overbite, open bite, crowding, gummy smile. We can help fix common orthodontic problems and give your child a radiant smile, free of cosmetic and functional imperfections.
